Frank Cadogan Cowper è stato un pittore e illustratore inglese di ritratti, scene storiche e letterarie, descritto come "L'ultimo dei Preraffaelliti"Nato a Wicken, Northamptonshire , ha studiato arte presso Legno Art School di San Giovanni nel 1896 e poi ha studiato alla Royal Academy Schools. Ha lavorato ad acquerelli e oli, e ha anche lavorato come illustratore - che fornisce le illustrazioni per sir Sidney Lee di The Imperial Shakespeare. Ha contribuito ad un murale nelle Camere del Parlamento nel 1910 insieme a Byam Shaw, Ernest Consiglio e Henry Arthur Payne.
